The expression on her face went from slightly worried to excited. She honestly didnāt think it would be so easy to drag Kingsley out of his quarters, but it would seem that she had succeeded. āBelieve it or not, you say,ā he said, standing up and pushing his chair back in.Ā āI must say, Iāll have to see that to believe it.ā He walked over to the coat-rack shoved in the corner of his office and picked up his worn coat, slipping it on easily. He wasnāt sure if the coat made him more or less formidable. On one hand, the length of it matched his height well, giving him a better silhouette than the beanpole he was. On the other hand, it was a size or two too big for him. It didnāt matter in the shoulder or arms area, but it certainly dwarfed his body.Ā
He followed her out of the office and was immediately hit by the fresh ocean air. He didnāt miss it.Ā āSo, which was is this miraculous haven of peace and terrible booze?ā
