sorting through old posts and found this gem again and knew i had to do something about it

anon said they remembered my Music Man AU, so i decided to do some scouring and reupload an animatic i was making of the Marian the Librarian sequence--but my laptop died before i could finish it because i was working on it for 16 hours a day! there's so much i'd change and clarify nowadays (...and might..?) but i was very fond of and all in on this project

for those unfamiliar with The Music Man, it's about a traveling salesman/conman who's latest scam is to orchestrate a boy's marching band, collecting money on instruments and band uniforms before leaving town--the only one smart enough to catch on is the snooty town librarian, and so to keep her quiet he tries to seduce her and--wuh oh!--falls in love for real! it's always been my favorite musical and around this time i had been bugging my drama director in HS to put this musical on for years, and learned we'd be doing it my senior year and so i spent sooo much time gorging myself on the film. thought the premise could fit Gregory and Christophe well enough if you had a little imagination, and in all it was a fun way to indulge myself
