I've admittedly not been as active recently, but this gives me an occasion to start back up again!

I'd like to take this chance to thank everyone willing to interact with this blog for being so patient with me.

This blog wouldn't still be running today if it weren't for many of you.

"Hello!-" the cat pauses, it's singular brain cell having to think of what to call Aventurine... >^.-.u^< "... gambler? I heard people call you that?" >^‸-‸^< the cat continues it's approaching and politely sits in front of Aventurine with a wide, head-empty smile.

"Hello! I'm Anonyan! But you can call me just Nyan!" n^‸-‸^n

Oh, Aventurine did so adore cats. After all, he has three that had been happily nesting in his bedsheets this morning when he had left his condo.

Though he's turned around to face the newcomer with a small smile, his eyes widen slightly once he processes that this cat can speak in actual words.

Penacony must truly be filled with delights, after all.

❝ I'm delighted to meet you, Mx. Nyan. ❞ The blonde bows ever so slightly as a display of respect.

❝ And, you've certainly got that right. I do have a few... acquaintances who refer to me as such. But my name is Kakavasha. ❞

Entrusting his name to others had slowly become more comfortable to the Avgin. Although he often only spoke this truth to younger children or animals such as this sweet kitty, it felt frankly more safe to do so.

Making him seem a little more approachable, despite the eyes that cursed him so.

❝ My, if it isn't the space cowboy! It's been a hot minute since I've seen you around. ❞

The executive sends the other man a polite smile, a teasing look thinly veiled in his duochrome irises.

❝ I do believe Miss Topaz happens to be the Stoneheart you're referring to? I can confirm, she was in fact in charge of the... business relation with the Belobogians. ❞

The gambler raises an eyebrow. Strange, but then again, Penacony isn't exactly a stranger to... interesting phenomena.

At least it wasn't his own voice; that pure Harmony hallucination coming back to haunt him again.

Kakavasha's lips tilt up slightly at the sides. Despite his confusion, there's something about the youthful laugh of a child that always fills him with a strange sense of joy, along with a bittersweet ache.

The blonde scans the area with a quick turn of his head. The other people walking about in Dream's End are few, but none of them seems to have heard the voice-- or if they have, they aren't speaking a word.

He can't see anybody speaking, though. So, he contents himself with staying perfectly still where he is.

❝ Far out..? Is this far from your home? ❞

The Avgin smiles wholeheartedly at the comment. ❝ Why, what an honour. You seem very interesting as well. My name is Kakavasha. ❞

Aventurine isn't sure why he didn't reply with his practiced introduction-- Aventurine of Stratagems, stoneheart of the Interastral Peace Corporation's Strategic Investment Department-- but there is something particular about this voice that puts him at ease.

Despite Penacony being an area where he cannot let his guard down, he feels safe, surrounded by this voice. Was that silly? ...Perhaps.

(Ooc: Hello!!!! I'm doing fine! I left most of the blogs I mod for a bit, yeah-- due to unforeseen circumstances, I frankly needed a little break.

However, I've been doing a lot better lately, and since exam season should be coming to a close soon I plan to be a lot more active!

(Ooc: You'd have to be the right person. Kakavasha doesn't fall in love easily, but when he does, he falls deep.

I'd say if you're his type personality-wise, and he enjoys your company, the rating would be about 8 or 9. Kakavasha isn't somebody who is attracted to appearance when it comes to romance or sexual interest. He wants to find somebody whose soul slots against his like the matching key to a lock.

Don't tell anybody-- but rom-coms are one of his comfort movie genres. He's only grown more romantic over the years. What he used to think was unattainable for him has now become something he can relate to, and he now appreciates romance even more.

(Ooc: Oh, absolutely. Kakavasha, despite the reccuring oppression within his workforce and facing the racism of others, is not one to be ashamed of who he truly is. It may hinder him, but he does not try to hide it now that he's grown into it.

Aventurine has a grandiose sense of style, too. His default clothing in-game was inspired by the flapper dresses of the 1920s as one of the many design elements present-- as well as the peacock imagery. Peacock feathers were worn by gay men in the late 19th to 20th century to flaunt their status in the "secret" view of others like them.

I'd like to think that Kakavasha is the same about his homosexuality. He doesn't exactly try to hide it. Flirting with Ratio on Penacony might have been acting, and flirting with Sunday may have been flattery-- but the two share an obvious pattern. He's speaking about other men.

I think Vasha would be so fun to be around at queer events. He has a sense of life about him and has that flamboyant festival air that makes itself apparent throughout the way he presents himself.

He's loud, he's definitely proud, and hey-- If a certain purple-haired scholar just so happens to be there, too, he'll even steal a couple kisses without caring about who could be watching.
