some clarification, since some people are confused: i mean, do you remember the first place you ever lived OUTSIDE of pictures and videos? like organic memory?

#yes #mostly the downstairs but also the kitchen/dining room a bit #downstairs #there was a tv against one wall with a couch facing it pretty much centrally in the room like not touching any walls and on either side of #the couch were the really heavy wooden chest side tables that i lost my blanket in once #if you faced the front of the couch in the far left corner was where most of our toys were because in the far right corner was where the #stairs were #i believe the walls were just white or maybe off white and it had a brown wooden trim maybe?#there isnt a whole lot to say about the kitchen it had stone counter tops of some sort with some green accents in it? like a white and green #granite? i remember helping my grandma make and decorate christmas treats in it pretzel rods dipped in chocolate and sugar cookies and #whatever else #we would make them for the next door neighbors bill his wife and their children #and i remember sitting on the counter while she melted some green and orange and maybe some other colored candy melts to make halloween #treats and getting to try one of the candy melts plain #the dining room was directly ajacent to the kitchen and there wasn't a wall between them #again there isn't much to say about it but we would all sit down for dinner together and it was so nice it was an oval shaped table and the #seats would have the tie-on cushions #that house always felt so warm and happy and loving and we left when i was about 5 #i remember my dads house that we would visit on weekends too i could tell you exactly how it was laid out save for some fogginess when it #came to the downstairs but i don't like remembering it much #it often felt tense and fragile usually during the day it was okay but once it was nighttime it started feeling unnerving

#i'd probably go through a print on demand company that can integrate into shopify #and probably use squarespace to actually design the website #i have some basic coding knowledge enough for aesthetics but not enough for functionality #i'd have to make more graphic design and or art #thatd probably be the biggest barrier #that and like promoting #i do not know how to grow social media

#what do you MEAN i already have less than $100 left from my $460 paycheck 5 days ago #i sent my partner $200 for rent #had $110 come out for car insurance #i bought like $50 in groceries/household items #filled my moms car that i was borrowing for $35 #$15 patreon charge #$12 on $1 energy drink stock up #spoiled myself with pretzelmaker for like $9 (the smallest size pretzel bites they had. unbelievable btw)#and transferred $46 to my savings account #which... now that i'm adding it up is 477 #$16 more than my paycheck lol #urgh #maybe it's time to find a second job or a side hustle or just a different job that pays more #i'm in the running for a promotion though and that might get me like a $1.40 pay raise #but i know my state is also trying to push a $15 minimum wage bill which would be a $2.90 raise lol #i don't think a MANAGER should be making $12.10 an hour but thats just me #like idk the only reason i'm staying is because i like the store and there's good growth opportunities if you put the work in #my partner works with the same company and became a store manager in less than a year #i've been there for almost 3 (with some gaps) but the district manager has seemingly set his sights on me next #but its also just a very mentally (and physically) exhausting job #i think i might enjoy being a mechanic #decent pay don't have to talk to customers all the time and get knowledge on how to fix my own car #anyways i think ive derailed the point of this post
