“Play…what exactly?” He questioned at his co-star, his attention caught from the swat at his ears turning himself around in his chair to give her his full attention a little intrigued by her request. “If it’s something that involves with me getting a prize at the end, I’ll think about it.” 

“I’m not exactly sure why you’re telling me this.” The tone of his voice could’ve been mistaken for annoyance however he was purely confused at why the sudden statement had been blurted out like that. “Why not just call him up then? I’m sure he misses you or something.” 

The sudden call of his name was enough to make him stop dead in his tracks - an uncertainty of who was behind it was the part that freaked him out the most; yet once he turned around a relief went through him smiling and noding his head at the direction of his new same aged friend. “I’ve been caught.” He teased holding his hands up only to be brought back down with a light chuckle. “What’s up Wonho-ssi?”

“It’s not the best attempt, but..... I suppose we can work with it.” 

“Are you sure you’re not going to get in trouble for coming over here?” He questioned, laughing a little at the idea of how secretive they had been when it came to hanging out - who knew how their companies would react at the idea of them being friends. “On another note, I should start charging you for wanting to learn dance moves from me. I’m not cheap you know.”

The question was definitely not expected, and it was definitely not something he’d be asked - that alone earned a light chuckle from the dancer’s lips, and light shrug of his shoulders. “I’m not really…” He started off, licking at his lips his eyes shifting to the side as if to find the answer in the distance. “I don’t think I’d make a good detective.” Another chuckle followed after, turning his attention back to the female. “Let’s be honest, although sherlock was basically like that, do you really see me actually doing that? “ He quietly added, head leaning back to rest against the wall he sat against. “It sounds fun though, want to uh….try and search for a gathering and try this out?”

If there was something that bothered Taemin to the deepest core of his soul it definitely had to be the fact that he lost things ....a little too easy. One minute he could be holding his wallet, searching for a credit card or loose change and the next thing he’d know it would be gone before he knew it. It pained him to admit that it was almost as second nature to him, his first being dancing. Which was no surprise that with these facts alone he’d be frustratingly tearing apart the hotel room he was sharing with one of his group mates in dallas, because if there was something that would annoy him the most it would be the idea of loosing his phone in a foreign country. “Where is it .... “ He sighed out, throwing another pillow off to the side of his own bed hand reaching between the cracks of the bed and the wall it laid pressed against only to bring it back with nothing. The last thing he wanted to do was bring another party into this mess and burden them with the task of having to find for his missing phone - but alas he had no choice.

He remained silent after her words, unsure of where they were aimed at - had he done something to make her uncomfortable? For Taemin the answer wasn’t obvious and he was confused. Licking his lips with a nervously laugh, his gaze turned awkwardly back at her direction. “I’m…sorry?” His words were filled with uncertainty, could he had possibly said something that had put her off? The possibilities seemed to create clouds of worry in is mind. He only wished he had been paying the proper attention. “Did I do something wrong?” Taemin finally asked after a few brief moments of silence a hand rubbing at the back of his neck nervously. 

“ I’m not saying you should, but maybe we should start hanging out some more. I mean, being the same age line and what not. Not that it matters to me, but I think kibum hyung would get jealous and that would be pretty funny. “

“ I’m a little bit envious about the trip you guys had to hawaii, but I bet I had more fun...”

“ well if it’s so easy, i’d like to see you try it then.”
