First off, he’s in a romantic and sexual relationship with Nancy Wheller most of the show so he’s not an incel. As for the misogynist accusation, no. He’s a misandrist, not a misogynist. And you’re thinking “oh if he hates men then he hates himself” and fucking exactly. Now you get it!

Season 1 Jonathan Byers could pick locks with his pocket knife, hide in the woods without being seen, break into a police station and Nancy’s house without alerting the people inside and leave without anyone knowing he was there.

……..And they just never expanded upon these skills.

A really big fumble if I say so, he could have easily portrayed the rouge class role on the show by stealing important things or getting his group into areas they aren’t allowed to be in.

And you know what? With the way the show was going, they could’ve made his thieving skills more ridiculous as the show went on. Like have Jonathan break into the MACZ constantly and steal things like weapons or information, and no one would question how he did it because by then he would already be an established master thief.

Rogue Jonathan Byers would’ve saved the show.
