Why can’t I just be good at everything I do

Can a book ever be better than a well-made movie? I don’t know. I probably haven’t read enough books but here’s the thing.

You take any emotional or penultimate scene from a book. Now imagine that scene with sound - The sound of a gun being fired or a song playing in the background. It could even be silent because the absence of sound in a noisy movie can be just as powerful.

Then couple the audio with visuals. You might have a strong imagination but can you tell me what the weather is like when your two favorite characters finally kiss?

Ok so I’m watching the Office and what always gets me is when a song starts playing in the background and then suddenly it cuts to a different scene with the song still playing. I gets me every. Single. Time. I don’t know why!

Someone is going to ask “Are you okay?” and one day I’m going to have the bravery to say no.
