Another attempt at tapestry crochet I did recently, this time with my beloved peregrine falcon. I love this a lot more than the previous one! This stitch (half double crochet waistcoat) works better with a smaller hook, and this yarn in general is just better than the one I used before.

mentally i used to be in a cottage on a hill waiting for a plane to fly by and see me and now mentally i live in a bone temple slathering myself in iodine hoping someone will ask me about my art - my letterboxd review of 28 years later. i love bone temple too

Apologies to those who are waiting for the finished piece from this post. I had to put it aside for a moment to focus on creating gifts for my loved ones' birthdays that are coming up. So instead of the end result of the previous project, here is another work in progress - it's going to be a space-themed wall hanging! My boyfriend's workspace and taste are very celestial, and we both love stargazing and moon worship. I will publish the finished version as well once it's displayed ✨🌙

I made a bird house!! The moth and caterpillar on top are called Orange-tipped oakworm moths and the leaf shape and acorns are meant to look like a Bur Oak! :D I love pottery and I love trees and I am really really proud of this piece >:]
