I’m not going to go through the whole reason why Shawmila is PR because I’ve probably written like 10+ posts on this already.

But let me just drop a few basic reasons: 

Hints about a Shawmila collab 7 months before it happens.

Camila breaking up conveniently with Matthew a few weeks before Senorita drops.

Senorita drops and rumours begin about a romance because of their "closeness” in the MV.

Shawmila starts 2 weeks after Senorita drops.

Camila dropping her entire life to go follow Shawn on his tour. 

Being all over each other when there’s paparazzi around.

Paparazzi being everywhere they go all of a sudden.

Shawmila constantly defending their “love” especially Shawn.

Shawn suddenly flying down to Miami to be with Camila for 4+ months of quarantining so people could see them “together” when he was already in Toronto with his family.

Wonder and his Netflix doc dropping with “Camila as the inspiration for everything”.

Shawn suddenly saying “Every song I’ve written is about Camila” when that’s not what he said about his songs in the past.

Shawn hiding his personal photos in his apartment during his doc.

Both said in the past that they “love each other like siblings” so why say now that they’ve secretly been in love/crushing for many years?

Plus many, many more...

If it was just a few of these things, then maybe I would call it real. But because these are all things that make up the core of PR relationship stunts, there’s no way it’s not a PR relationship. And this is just a small list of what they’ve done. 

Shawn has definitely been at Camila’s house in Miami many times over the past year. It’s not weird at all if they are hanging out together because this is a PR relationship. It has to look as real as possible. And the best “proof” that your PR relationship is “real” is to have your friends and family post personal pictures/videos of you together and comment on how “cute” and “goals” your relationship is.
