im sorry but chi’s threads always ask for so fucking much brainpower. idc if you think a well thought out and written post of ~4-8 paragraphs isn’t much but if i’m coming to this site as a form of escapism from my already straining IRL job to make cute avatars and find accs you already knowww i’m not putting in all that. and no, you cant say that whatever i post on their threads is fine because that means a barely 7 word reply and no further discussion on points i bring up. ofc i can always just ignore those threads; but with those specific threads being about the topic that i WANT to talk about, especially about points i havent seen other users raise, ill be salty that i cant because its too straining for me. sorry about the ranty submission bc i have nothing against chi, its just i cant stand that any meaningful discussion is always MLA formatted basically
Yeah, sorry about that (albeit a little strange that I’m singled out when there are others who write way more than me lol). I tend to glaze over long texts, too. Sometimes I get the itch to type & that’s when I make those threads, but I don’t ever expect users to care about my spur-of-the-moment thoughts. There are over 8 pages of short or shitposty topics under my topics history; the short ones far outnumber the “brainpowery” threads, but I guess the latter’s more memorable? Don’t give the slightest care about the length of your reply even if it’s one whole word. I can always TL;DR for people if they ask, but no one’s asked for that so far.

I hesitated to make my own tumblr (rather than have a friend reply for me) because I hate the UI here and I feel like having this account means open season for the typical harassment & hatemail. sorry for the callout, i understand its unnerving to be singled out like that; though i didnt mean for it to seem malicious if you did take it as such. i understand the need to just make wordspams a lot of the time too! im glad were on the same page as that, where our roads diverge is i guess when i start using metaphors and more “vulgar” words to drive out a point thats been verbalised well enough in my head but not to the point where its clear what i mean after just skimming my text - while youre very eloquent in how you piece together everything and its easy to make up a small tldr by yourself! [the reader]
and again about the singling out, you specifically had me like this because whenever somebody else creates threads that are wordy theyre usually like that because of the need for conciseness (due to being in the sug forum etc etc.) im not that active anymore and i usually only reply to already active threads, where your posts would show up. i know of many more others who also made room for discussion but theyre not always about things im interested in. i guess you hit oil with my niche? i don’t like necroing older threads that i stalk at times since the OP (and most people sadly) dont like to see older threads brought up again, even though i dont really understand itt? theyre not locked so.. but back from the digression! i usually keep myself to currently active threads - where you pop up a lot!
and i dont mind using the block button liberally, but we’ve had a few chats already and i think of you as someone that’s nice to speak with. i’ll just keep on ignoring the bigger threads you post ❤️ hopefully this explanation of context makes you feel less called, out for lack of a better word
