“It was really complicated and all, I made friends with Trixie… if you remember her,” Starlight said, not fully knowing if Vinyl would be one to hold a grudge against the magician still.
“Twilight was just trying to get someone more… ‘appropriate’ for dinner with Princess Celestia. And honestly, I’d rather call you Vinyl, just saying ‘pon’ and a number as part of someone’s name doesn’t seem quite right to me.”
“You know, maybe you’d like to come to dinner someday, actually get to know Twilight more.”
“Ohh, Trixie, huh? That crazy magician?” Vinyl laughed and shook her head. “Ahh, I do remember her. I didn’t get too caught up in what happened, though. Personal preference. She seems okay though, just as long as she ain’t plannin’ on going all magic-crazy again anytime soon.”
Crossing a forehoof over the other, her ears flickered in amusement. Heh. Appropriate.
“Leeeeemme tell ya somethin’. I don’t think Princess Celestia thought that I was any appropriate for that dinner. I was there. Unprepared and against my will, but boy, was I there. She was peeved.” She snorted, recalling the look on the princess’ face all too well.
“Buuut... the thought of a well organized dinner sounds nice, I won’t lie. I’d be down for that.”
