“Y/n.” Poke.

“Y/n.” Another poke.

“Y/nnnnn,” said the voice in a sing-song tone.

“Oh my goodness Kai, what?” I questioned, irritation present in my voice.

“I can’t sleep.”

“Then admire my beauty while I’m asleep,” I stated before shutting my eyes again in hopes of returning back to Dream Land. I had about two minutes of complete silence before Kai broke it once again.

“I’m in the mood for french toast.” He climbed out of bed before puling a dark gray shirt over his naked chest. 

“C’mon, sleepyhead. We’re going to iHop.” 

“Kai, it’s like, 2 in the morning. We can go when it’s light out.” Instead of replying, he picked me up bridal style before walking out of our bedroom and out of our apartment.

“What are you doing,” I groaned.

“I just told you. We’re going to iHop, duh.” 

I internally rolled my eyes (since they were still physically shut from sleepiness) as I felt myself being lowered into the car before the door was shut. Kai entered the driver’s side and started the car before sparking up yet another dazzling conversation (with himself). I eventually gave up on trying to sleep as Kai continued on with his ramblings.

“Aw, babe don’t pout. I thought you loved iHop,” he exclaimed as he glanced over to my annoyed gaze on the road and my arms crossed over my chest.

“I do,” I began, “when it’s daylight out and I’m not being sleep deprived!” I snapped.

“Yeesh. Someone needs their beauty sleep.” 

I slowly turned my head towards him and gave him a long glare.

“I’m pretty sure this counts as a kidnapping.”

“It’s not kidnapping if we’re in a happy, loving relationship.” I rolled my eyes as I bit back a reply. I’m too tired for this.
