Varric/Cassandra please?

Not one I’m sure how I’d work out, but it’s not a bad one.

Who was the one to propose: There really wouldn’t be a wedding, because it’s just not something they’d do. Varric has a list miles long as to why he can’t marry a human and Cassandra doesn’t need a wedding for her fairy tale to be real. That said, Varric would do it in a book in some roundabout way and Cassandra would be in disbelief for a bit. He was messing with her…right?Who stressed more over wedding planning: Varric, because it is only a matter of time before the Guild tries to pull so bullshit. Probably with Antivan Crows, good thing they have Leliana.Who decorated the house: Varric, he has very specific tastes and he assumes Cassandra wouldn’t mind too much.Who does the cooking: Cassandra tries and she isn’t bad at it, though anything is so much better than The Hanged Man slop. It is a very utilitarian meal though.Who is more organized: Cassandra, Varric is very organized, but Cassandra has him beat because she doesn’t leave books or pages just lying around everywhere. There are places for those Varric.Who initiates bedroom fun: Cassandra, it is very fumbly the first few times. Varric just gives her that are you kidding me look with his eyebrow raised in amusement, before sweeping her off her feet mid sentence.Who suggested kids first: Varric, he brings it up with exasperation and how he should probably have an heir for the Tethras fortune. It turns out to not be as much of an annoyance as they both had thought it to be.Who’s more dominant: Cassandra, always on top. Though she has to make sure she doesn’t crush the dwarf underneath her and between her thighs.Who’s the cuddler: Varric, he just likes having someone else there for a change. Someone to lean on and know for a fact they’ll be their when he awakes.Who’s the big spoon/little spoon: Cassandra prefers Varric to be big spoon, she loves to lay down in his arms and play with his chest hair.What’s their favorite non-sexual activity: The “quiet” moments when Varric is writing and Cassandra is reading over his shoulder giving him feedback.Who comes home drunk at 3am: They both do, though Varric is probably more drunk. Too many rounds during their weekly game of Wicked Grace with the Inquisition.Who kills the spiders: Cassandra, Varric isn’t about that and just slowly edges away from the spider, whispering loudly for Cassandra.Who falls asleep first: Cassandra, she usually falls asleep reading in the bed while Varric is working late. He’ll go over and tuck her in before finishing up the last contract to join her.A headcanon: Varric starts a new serial specifically referencing his and Cassandra’s story, it is equal parts adventure, tragic, romantic, and comedy. It is the very first book that Varric has ever included himself in and honestly the one he is most proud of, Cassandra always gets the first look at the next book and her feedback is important to him.Their relationship summed up in a gif:
