Week 1 of Ian Roberts' "Bold Brushwork". The point here was to paint a highly saturated scene in low saturation. I started two-and-a-half weeks behind the rest of the class because of other commitments. So now rushing to catch up. Normally I would DEFINITELY have made a second attempt. But ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯. Ina Xi's 30-Day Beginner Watercolor Bootcamp. 19/30. Many of these I'd like to come back and try my hand at again. She's done such a good job of giving us a wide variety of images to work with. I could very easily just start over again, probably with the YouTube video of 8, then roll right back into the 30 day. I could probably get through three full cycles before I got bored. That's highly complimentary to any teaching structure.
