Aaron Z: Good question.

Robaire: You know... technically, even if there are five of us, with Z and I growing up together, we do represent four towns. Though...it might be a stretch to call some of the guys' hometowns.... towns.

Robaire: Oh man, I feel like I have such a deep-rooted routine I've been doing since I was in high-school. It's nothing crazy, but I will say, especially recently - a nebulizer or a portable steam inhaler/mister? Absolute godsend. I like to use them the night before, or especially right before a performance.

Otherwise, I have pretty much always stayed to a ten minute warm up that kind of jumps through different areas. Work smarter, not harder - you know? I always start with humming just to kind of 'wake up' my vocal chords, but then I progress through trills and scales and octave jumps and usually finish the last minute with sustained note exercises.

I also think that taking care of our bodies shouldn't be under-estimated. Having a proper diet, a good sleep schedule, exercise and especially keeping hydrated is so, so important. Which, kind of related but - I only room temperature or warm water before performances. Very unpopular, I realize. Anyways, I know I won't be ready for a performance if I haven't taken care of myself - and it also makes the psychological aspect easier too. When I'm healthy, I'm in my best mindset, and when I'm in my best mindset, it's so much easier for me to get into that performance head-space and give it all I have.

I hope this made sense, from one vocalist to another - but totally down to compare notes.

Taehyun: oh of course! So for me it's a 7 step process. I start with an oil-based cleanser and then a foaming cleanser to wash my face. My skin then has been stripped out of its natural oils so I apply a toner for an even deeper clean. It's a watery one that you rub with your hands. So after the toner I apply essence and then eye cream. After the eye cream I apply a moisturizing cream and then for the very last step I apply a lip balm! And that's the process! Might seem like a lot but I think it's been really effective! Oh and if there might be a lot of sun exposure then I'll also add a good moisturizing sunblock.

Aaron Z: I miss the beach. And I'd tell people to go to the beach.
