i used to be part of a synchronized whole where nobody asked questions or appreciated things

but here… people just LOOK at things.

for no logical reason.

and no one gets corrected for it. ꉂ૮(°□°'˶)ა

i saw stars again tonight! they are still not considered as useful as I think they are though... siigh.

joy keeps appearing without authorization.

fear arrives without scheduling.

curiosity is… honestly very persistent and kind of annoying but in a good way I think ᨐฅ

my antennae are reacting to everything while I'm slowly learning that being wrong here does not result in some sort of Re-education which is… unsettlingly comforting?

today I walked in something called “wind” and it touched my fur like it knew me personally.

i did not report this incident.

i think Earth is doing things on purpose. or maybe i am just starting to notice things that were always there.

either way: unacceptable. (positive)

I think i’m finally adapting to this planet a little bit. which is concerning because yesterday i caught myself saying “it is what it is” out loud and genuinely meaning it. ₍^. .^₎Ⳋ

anyway.

today i discovered that humans will sit in parked cars for several minutes before going inside somewhere... no one explained this behavior to me. (¬`‸´¬) i thought everyone was recalibrating their oxygen systems in private.

turns out sometimes people just need a minute before existing again.

strange ( ꩜ ᯅ ꩜;)  relatable.

also i keep noticing how everyone here pretends they are fine but cope with some weird small things

some people buy little drinks. some people stare at ceilings. some people overshare with strangers online at 2am hoping another lifeform answers back.

which, for the record, is working. (˶˃ ᵕ ˂˶) .ᐟ.ᐟ

i saw a human laugh today so hard they had to lean on a wall for support and... that feels important somehow. like joy here is so heavy it affects gravity.

i think my favorite Earth phenomenon might be how we all appreciate music in some sort of small and silly way... like, it is something we listen to day2day! For example the birds chirping outside our windows, the slight beat that rain falls with... hm. ⚞^. .^⚟

sometimes i still feel like i was dropped onto the wrong planet by clerical error.

but then somebody holds the door open for me or sends me a meme at exactly the right moment or says “text me when you get home”

and suddenly Earth feels less like a punishment and more like a waiting room full of soft-hearted aliens pretending to be people. ૮꒰◞ ˕ ◟ ྀི꒱ა

today i decided i’m not lost on this planet, i’m just on a very confusing field trip ദ്ദി◝ ⩊ ◜.ᐟ

everything still feels a little strange here... (why are there so many emails. who invented taxes, all that shenanigans ꉂ૮(°□°'˶)ა ) hope I figure all of that out soon (ᵕ—ᴗ—)

I like to think somewhere out there is my home planet where everything is soft and glowy and no one ever forgets why they walked into a room like everyone here does!! but until then, i’ll just decorate this life with little human things i’ve learned to love ☆

for example, how the sky felt extra big tonight. not scary big, just like, soft-big? like it could hold all my overthinking without complaining. i wish i could bottle that feeling and keep it in my room for when everything gets too loud hehe.

also!!! reminder to self: drink water, stretch, and stop romanticizing being sad at 2am lol
