Simply put, he's there when I need him

It may be deeper but I love to swim that way

And I learn from his darkness

Seems I cant get away

And you have a God that religiously maintains a balance of good and bad, glory and pain

Yet if your nice you go above and bad ones go below

And sometimes ghosts will roam and haunt you in limbo

Spirits see everything until you forget they're there

I wonder if their feelings hurt or if they even care

But help me with this

What about the babies that never got a chance

And what about the dadless girls without a father daughter dance

Is there really someone up there doing this all for a reason

Could there really be someone up there doing this for a reason

Does your God help them along the way

Do your Gods have anything to say for themselves

I simply can't believe in a human-like giant controlling everything

Maybe theres a light, or maybe its a force

Or maybe its a lie, but we'll never of course

My beliefs are wrong, and they hold all our rights hostage with their old ass books

I try to be as logical and reasonable as I can

But you people believe things I cannot understand 

Could I be the one missing some information

Cause it seems your all happier than I have ever been 

Even if I don't believe do I have to pick a side

Cause from where I stand demons have no shame they hide

Your God claims evil is destroyed when you pray

But I tried to talk to him and he had no words to say

You say this isn't magic but it won't work till I believe 

I'd rather go to Disneyland with drugs slipped up my sleeve

If our worlds the only one with people full of souls 

Then why would we waste time making pointless goals

But help me with this

What about the climate we changed with our stupid fast cars and machines

What about our future kids and the fact they won't see any trees
