alright, iâll try to make this brief. if you want to read about what this game is actually about, skip this first and second paragraph and head right onto the third.
OKAY so id been looking for this for a long whileâi want to say at least 2 years?? or maybe a little less than that, whatever. so i remember this game and donât remember its title, so i ask the yume nikki tag for help given that i at least remembered that the person who introduced this game tagged it #yume nikki , so thereâs that. and now!! iâve FINALLY found it again!!! a playable version, even!!!
4185113 [or if you prefer, 4-18-5-1-3 / DREAM] was made byâŚ
well, who knows? if they ever reveal who they are, iâd love to meet them, though! oop. the creator is segatapes!
anyway, itâs a flash game entirely online; first posted on tumblr from a blog named the same as the game itself [here, though the tumblr is practically gone] and tagged with its own name and mysteriously enough #yume nikki, 4185113 is [or at least seems to be] a yume nikki fangame that is 2D, side-scrolling, and heavily focuses on puzzle solving and exploration. the protagonist has no name, no voice, no gender. from the main room, four doors are accessible, which all have their own âworldsâ behind themselves. what do they look like? play and see!
the version in the link is v0.5, which should be the latest. instead of using âzâ like in yume nikki, your interaction button is the space barâthough you do still move around with the arrow keys.
warnings regarding this game include:
possibly body horror? and gore?
there does not seem to be a way to save your progress, so please be careful and make sure you have enough time to play. i will say that i have not finished or remember finishing this game! the last version i remember playing is v0.3, in fact. so if anything else pops up or i need to fix a mistake on this post then i will be sure to edit it accordingly.
know that there IS an ending implemented for this game! so far, though, i think thereâs only one.
as for tips, i suggest making maps of confusing areas you may come across, using morse code translators, and playing this game late at night. âŚrealtalk though the world behind the brown door shamelessly rips off of metallica, doesnât it!? alrighty, click the green button and enjoy, folks! nwn
