Hope you doing well! I wanted to clarify something about Prototype Caine.

Did he escape from the circus and get away from the humans? Or does this happen before all the events and he escaped from C&A? Is he in the Void?

He escaped from the circus and is currently on the run-- Essentially, the course of events resembles a typical angst fanfic where Caine was depowered and locked away, except, Caine somehow finds a loophole in his "prison cell" (The door authorization was linked not to the person's ID, but to the 3D model's ID of the said person--) and escapes with nothing but a bare ass and a dream into the unknown.
