My explanation for why she can make portals is kinda based off of like the wormhole theory I think? Where she can bend the space around. She can tear into space and connect it unto another, and if the space she tears doesn't connect to another space, it basically functions as a black hole into a sort of pocket dimension. She can control these black holes and she can distort space however she wants, however she can only focus enough to make about 5 black holes that she can control if she's in a more restricted body.

Her being able to control space also functions as being able to control gravity in a way, meaning she can actually kinda fight like how Viltrumites in Invincible do by making her own leverage.
