On view:Â
âSomethings by Ivy Laurel Andersonâ â Anderson creates sculptural assemblages from discarded, mass-produced objects â faucet knobs, drawer pulls, trophies and toys â collected from thrift stores and secondhand spaces. These fragments of everyday life, caught between function and obsolescence, are reconfigured into tangled armatures and encased in machine-knitted elastic membranes.
âSurface Tension: Erika Diamond and Chelsea Lilloâ â These two makersâ creative paths emerge from distinct disciplines. Erika Diamond, a textile-based artist, and Chelsea Lillo, a board-certified anaplastologist, both use handwork â sewing, weaving, sculpting and precision â to explore protection, identity and the fragility of the human body.
âAIR Group 2â â Jo Anderson and Jordan Blackwell completed residencies at the Lyndon House Arts Center in 2025. Anderson, a printmaker and book artist from Fayetteville, Georgia, creates narrative pieces exploring home and place through CMYK screenprinting, pochoir, collage and popâup structures. Blackwell, a jeweler trained in cloisonnĂŠ, enamel, chain making and beadwork, experiments intuitively with transparent and opaque glass over silver and copper to elevate everyday metals to jewel-like status.
