First Road Trip

I used to be a boring person, not the spontaneous type. I used to be an all day gamer, wouldn't leave the house and just play games. Until I met some people who had the same interest as me and I went on some drives because of the passion we all had. This was when I realized that I loved driving and loved the adrenaline of doing it. When my longest time best friend came down to visit for christmas, I had promised her that we would go on a road trip to celebrate our birthdays together. So, we decided to go down to Big Sur, California.

Now, I've driven to Monterey before and Monterey is an awesome place but I've never been to Big Sur before. One of the reasons why we decided to go to Big Sur, is because i've had some friends who have taken amazing nature and landscape photos and I figured that the drive down highway 1 from Monterey would be an amazing scenic drive so I took that chance. To my surprise, it actually was. There are a bunch of viewpoints with amazing views, multiple stops, and once you drive deeper into Big Sur, there is even a hidden beach with purple sand. You really have to be there to enjoy being in Big Sur, definitely reminded me of the 17 mile drive of Monterey.
