Also I might make this an account with pics of my other Puppet plushies going on adventures and not just the 3foot Mari. The wire frame I made the 3foot Mari out of isn't the most durable and is pretty prone to being out of shape so I might take him out less. I'll likely start using the Hex Puppet more cause the lill fella is more durable and I can bend her into funky poses for easier pics.

He had a fun day at the Fair today! He even got to ride the Ferris wheel!

Just an update on the mask updates!

When I gave it a good scrub to clean up all the stuck on dirt and hair I inevitably scrubbed off a lot of the paint. I redid said paint with a different brand of acrylics that I layered on to get better tear-tracks (the old paint was a bit chunky, this one was a bit more watery).

The weird clay things on the side are to test the two sealants I got. I want the mask to look shiny/glossy while also not being sticky in the heat which was a problem with the old sealant. Each got the same, though messier, paint job done to test how the sealants react to it.

He should be ready to go by the time the fair comes to town

By the way I'm working on redoing his mask. The sealant I used isn't very good; dirt and hair sticks to it in the heat. So I'm repainting and resealing it! Hopefully it'll be done in time for the fair
