I actually dont think illumi would willingly listen to music of any kind. not that he hates it he just doesn’t care all that much for it. if he did though at best he’d listen to either braindance, idm, classical, white noise, ambient, instrumental. No lyrics . And whatever hisoka plays he’d tolerate cuz its like. whatever who cares.

As someone who is a huge fan of Illumi and has been for years, i always gotta reiterate that just cuz i like him dont mean i support him or excuse his actions, i like coming up with theories (that try to be as loyal to the canon as possible) about why he is the way he is not as a means of justifying what he does but to explain why he does what he does, i respect the opinions of all and can completely get behind why people dont like him because, in truth, he is a massive piece of shit

Contrary to popular belief i dont think Silva and Kikyo would give a flying fuck if any of their children were gay despite everything they've inflicted on them. like the only reason they would disapprove of, say, Hisoka is because of how lecherous and exuberant he is IMO.
