I suppose every child wants ((maybe innately believes)) to be born to loving parents that care and love them for them just as they do , sadly this isn't the cast for some people. (me) it will always hurt but the younger you know I think the more damage it does i recall my mother (one time maybe high or drunk maybe both, maybe before the drugs) telling me the story of how she gave me away to a aunt. its where i got my nick name she gave me it when my mom left me with her. until my dad furiously demanded that they take me back. at the time it hurt though I don't recall showing it. my mom went on to say that by the time she came back for me I didn't recognize her even cried as i was taken home. .... and I think... did it hurt the very first time too...as she drove off on a dusty rocky road maybe even feeling relief at getting rid of me.. did I cry. i think of my close cousin who sadly had this similar happen to her although they never came back and all the others i don't know of that might relate to this post. feel comforted by the thought that (you) might feel the same deep seeded sense of rejection. i can only say i know that it hurts like it wont get better but it does. you don't know all the people who will love you yet. and sometimes that person is you or a friend or s/o. its the little things and the big picture. and i can only hope it gets better.Â
