Could not rebound for the life of us. We need more height in the paint.

Our inability to finish at the rim. We were rushing a lot of our shots at the rim instead of slowing down and finishing or drawing contact and getting to the foul line. With how close they were guarding, we def could get to the foul line more.

they were playing more aggressive on defense. They needed to body up Olivia and displace her before she could drive. Force her to give up the basketball. I also feel like some people were confused on whether they should switch on Olivia and Howard or not, which allowed Olivia to blow by. They fixed it up a little bit in the third quarter which lead to some stops and turn overs by the lynx.

azzis defense was not bad. Yes, Olivia blew by her a few times but I knew it was going to happen. She was able to do that to every other team. I do think Azzi got some good stops on her and stripped the ball a couple of times. I also think Olivia was holding Azzi a lot and restricting movement, and I wish Azzi would make a scene about it a little bit to make the refs more aware. I know other players would have. Honestly, I never thought Azzi should be guarding Olivia because she’s not as fast. And, that’s not hating it’s a fact. They should have had JJ or Zaza on Olivia. Although, Zaza goes under screens too much. Azzi did a good job on Howard and Courtney and made it tough for them. I think, she does good against bigger guards actually.

Azzi and Paige were play really passively. There were multiple times that they should have shot the ball and instead made a bad pass.

paige needs to stop with these falling side shots, because it’s not working. She’s not squaring up enough. (I said what I said)

Why wouldn't Azzi fans be mad that Minnesota gave a platform for people to leave the nastiest shit towards Azzi in replies and quotes. Should we just laugh?

Now to Dallas, it’s clear the three guard line up is not working. It’s also clear that Azzi’s teammates don’t trust her. Jess and others don’t pass to her when she’s open, and when they do pass to her she’s being heavy guarded. They def aren’t playing team basketball. They played unselfish for like two games and now they’re back to playing selfish, which will never lead them to a championship game.

Also, it doesn’t seem like anyone knows their roll. They don’t communicate on the defense. They clearly don’t have any offensive schemes set up. The ball starts to stick. They looked loss out there like they don’t have days to scout the team.

Azzi had more confidence at UConn because her teammates kept feeding her the ball. she knew that her team needed her to score and shoot so she was more aggressive. it’s like that mentality vanishes when arikes on the floor. the only time it’s worked was during the liberty game but that’s because arike was passing to her. She didn’t really pass to Azzi this game or the last one.

saying everything is fine because they tried to get her going in the second half…. It’s kind of a moot point. She took a lot more contested shots when they were trying to find her then in the first half when she was at the three point line wide open.

I could see that Azzi was loosing confidence especially when she was wide open and asking for the ball and nobody passed to her. You can tell that she stopped trusting herself. There was one play that Paige was suppose to pass to Azzi coming out of a time out and she ended up passing to Arike. I don’t hate Paige and think she should facilitate at all times, but she’s been passing up on open Azzi threes and idk why.
