Someone pointed out that Talamasca canonically takes place right after this because Daniel meets Guy the day after the beheadings. I thought I reblogged the post but can't find it, so if someone has a link, please give it to me.

So ... The Talamasca, or at least Raglan, and the Amherst head, would be on the same side. Or there's been other coup's that we haven't been privy to (Alas! Poor Agent Talbot! I knew him, Louis.)

What I wonder is, will any bits of The Talamasca be crossing over? Not necessarily Guy or Jasper (although, at least Jasper would be nice, because who doesn't want more William Fictner?), but Raglan has some ancient blood of an ancient vampire (who was he?). Will we see any of that?

I just watched the episode and I loved it.

Armand and Daniel have been my favorite characters since I read QotD, and I loved this so much. Like, when I write them, I write soft, schmoopy stuff, but that's not necessarily what I want to see from the show (although I wouldn't complain if we got a little of them being soft together), so the machete, full on gremlin mode Armand was so much fun to watch.

I loved all his scenes with Louis. I enjoyed Louis writing fuck you and the whole page of whatever it was (did he just write fuck you over and over, or did it say more? I couldn't tell.) Anyway, the whole scene was delightful.

I did also like the insight that he just couldn't handle imagining Armand at 12 years old forced into a life that Louis knew so intimately. He knew from the inside it was like to be the type of person to sell someone else, and while I don't believe he ever would have had a child in his brothels or enslaved someone as Arun was, Louis, as we saw in his confession seen in 01x01, knew what he was. So it makes sense that he repressed the reality of what had happened to Armand when Armand made his confession/plea to him in 02x04 and ignored the impact of it on their relationship. And I think his apology, coerced as it was, was sincere.

And, yes, I made such a squee of delight when Armand said that Lestat's head was with his companion because my bae deserves to have a companion after so long.

Lestat at the long table was so interesting, and I feel like I have a lot to say about the witches, Gabriella, and him, but I need to mull on it.

I'm glad Rashid didn't die getting Louis' head, but I still fear he's not long for the world. Or something.

(Also, I have this whole idea for a Sam and Rashid pulled away from their holiday by the Talamasca to save Jasper from Amsterdam, but the show The Talamasca didn't happen the way it happened on the show because the show was canceled and I can do what I want. But, I can only write it if I sit down and write the short story I've been planning to submit to a magazine that I think isn't even accepting submissions anymore, but I should still write the story so I have it for the future. So, encourage me, please.)

People on Insta are saying you must have a wristband to get into Hall H. But what I read on the past years’ Toucan blog, and what it seems Reddit is saying, the wristbands are for guaranteed seats to the first panel of the day. Which TVL is not.
