Hi, i’m the person running the many wizard agency blogs. Here’s some background ideas I had about them. Yes this is out of place, I’ve just really wanted to share my ideas behind it all.
Crane Summoner; came up with the idea after remembering that one satire book “How do they summon big ass cranes out of thin air”. The whole old English accent was just because I thought it’d be funny.
Occult-Summoning-Health-Agency; made this because I thought having a magic version of osha would be funny. And I think giving them a surfer way of speaking was the best idea I’ve had so far since it really feels unprofessional for an agency dedicated to workplace safety.
Inter-Realm-Tax-Agency; after I made osha I figured, why not make the IRS. I tried to give them a bit of a New York mobster accent and I think it fits. Debating whether or not to make them sorta like vampires in that they can’t enter your house without permission.
Spectral-Wildlife-Service; Unintelligible southern accent. Don’t really know what else to say, I just try to make it look hard to read. It’s also because of the difficulty in reading it that I don’t post in it as much, it hurts my brain trying.
Magic-Workers-Union; I somewhat picture all of the agencies as eldritch ancient beings, or at least run by them. The exceptions are crane summoner (who is just a really old wizard) and the union. I’ll talk about it later but the main idea behind the union is well, communism in theory (not a dictatorship oppressive regime we associate with communism, the idea of communism where everyone is equal.)
Department-of-Magic-Bureaucracy; one of my favourite, this is dwarves and elves running a labyrinth of tunnels and halls containing a vast collection of knowledge, and also accepting permits.
I know this is a different post than what I normally make, but I’m proud of my creations and wanted to share. Thank you everyone who views my many blogs, more things to come.
