Daze's escape

As with most challenges I start, I don't finish them. Such is the life of an artist ¯_(ツ)_/¯ . Here's the drafts that I did complete for week 3.

On to week 2 of Stormyth's challenge ♩¨̮(ง ˙˘˙ )ว♩¨̮

For day eight, I couldn't resists an Elmo meme. Daisy and Quin look so goofy. Quin is a shared oc between my sister and I.

When day nine said angst, I went all in ( ｡ •̀ ᴗ •́ ｡). I love putting these two through the wringer.

The night scene for day ten didn't go to well. I wish I did better on the lighting (╥ᆺ╥;). Bea and Clover's nightly chats.

I didn't have much time for day eleven, so I spun a wheel for characters and only picked one. I ended up with Tika and immediately thought of the gingerbread man as his perfect fairy tale.

I got very lazy on day twelve. Instruments are very hard to draw. But, then I thought of my clown character, Kowen. He wouldn't play something conventional. Slinky and Cup 🪄✨.

Day thirteen, I finished another redraw. Zachary is a zombie, so he died at some point.

Finally, day fourteen was tarot cards. I've had ideas on this for awhile, but I wanted to pick a character I had no art of. The reversal of the four of pentacles fit Erhala really well.

This year I decided to participate in Stormyth's OC-TOBER.

I got waaay to excited for day one's character redesign that I did 3. I got burnt out immediately and left them as sketches.

Day two's prompt was a coffee shop au. I've never really thought of au's for my characters outside of miitopia, but it was fun nonetheless. These are Haven, Reiya, and Violet.

For day three's opposite personalities, I choose my timid character Zachary. His reversal would be somewhat adjacent to Flynn rider.

I did not complete day four on the 4th. I mulled over who was my favorite pair and what posing for them. I ended up picking my oldest ocs, Daisy and Jackie.

Day five I did a redraw of a sunset piece from 2021. It's Violet again :P

Lastly, for day six's color palette swap, I did my characters Summer and Artemis. The color swap makes me cringe a little when I look at it.

This was a project that I've sat on for waaayy to long. While I don't ever plan on finishing it now, I would like to show what I've made.

I was listening to an episode of flapjack and heard Larry's voice. I immediately thought of Howdy. I wanted the scene to be animated between him, Wally, and Barn.
