Gut shot! Special recipe TS808 with built-in fat mod (among other tweaks), switchable red or yellow LED clippers. Wonderful rendering of the classic tube screamer circuit, built on the old BYOC tube screamer board - an excellent platform for building the perfect overdrive pedal.
Maple, air, electricity.
A couple tasty closeups of my Heatley Standard.
I want to EAT this. So tasty.

“These are a few of my favorite things” 🎶 50s Strat, ‘63 Firebird III, ‘74 Vibrolux Reverb, humidifier.
I do wish I was able to capture how beautifully this 1989 American Standard Stratocaster has aged. Was my #1 for years. Smooth, beautiful.
dead rocks- Sep 6, 1985
Wow... So totally cool to see this. The last run of Dead shows I ever saw before moving from Colorado to Alaska. Camped at Chief Hosa with the rest of the 'heads, left for AK the morning after the 3rd show.
Seriously frothy rig. Not the D-28, which is indeed quite frothy - but that’s for another post. This - ‘62 Bassman 6G6-B - the one with the silicon diode rectifier (yeah, the one Brian Setzer plays). Freda 2x10 cab. That cab is SO FINE. Super lightweight, big port below the speakers. Loaded with an Eminence Ramrod and Little Buddy. So punchy beyond belief. Also in there is a Peavey Valverb, an extremely underrated, no longer produced tube reverb - a fine piece of kit that is one part reverb one part rack mount overdrive. The bass channel on the amp has been modded to be voiced for guitar and it's one of the thumpin'est punchiest thunderous amps I've ever played. The bass channel is definitely like Fender tones on Ecstasy and an interesting blend of Fender and Marshall. The normal channel is much cleaner and less thunderous but sounds very very good, classic Fender tones throughout.
This rig. 50s Strat, '73 Deluxe Reverb. Yummy.

Don’t really use pedals all that much but damn, I do love ‘em. My board currently - tuner:Analog filter:Timmy:custom recipe TS808 with Farndurk port:BYOC analog chorus:BYOC digital delay (ping-pong). The extras, L - R starting below the board: Ibanez AD9 analog delay (‘vintage), Arion SCH-1 chorus (awesome!), super-custom TS808 clone with 3 onboard clippers, fat switch and Farndurk clipper port, Analogman TS9 Silver, Peterson Strobostomp, BYOC 5-knob Compressor (impressive compressor!), weird Japanese 3-band EQ (kit) pedal, BYOC VB-2, BYOC Rat clone, my old, excellent vintage real-deal Rat, Jetter Gain Stage Blue, Orman MOSFET Boost, Orman MOSFET Boost, Lovepedal Vibe, Danelectro Vibe, BYOC Phase 90, Danelectro Transparent Overdrive (first version, the Timmy clone one; GREAT pedal), Danelectro Fuzz also a great pedal though a ripoff of Frantone, GGG 69 Boutique Fuzz, GGG Rangemaster Treble boost clone, oh yeah and a Digitech iStomp (interesting pedal)
50s Strat so tasty!
Some shiny things. L- R: Heatley Standard, 1989 AmStd Strat, Heatley Tradition Classic.
Another radical rig. 1953 Gibson GA-20 amp + 50s Strat. Very very greasy.
~Alvin Lee, Ten Years After, c.1972~ 12/19/1944 - 3/6/2013 Yesterday the world lost one of it’s most phenomenal guitarists. I remember the first time I saw the Woodstock film I was simply floored and mesmerized by the blazing speed of this man’s fingers. He will truly be missed.
Fucking cool bluesman passes.
