Moments From An Empty Nester

wow its been awhile since posting.

my photography interests have minimalized over the last few years

my iphone takes most of my photos which are my dogs out and about offleash on the nature trails or photos from my backyard

then I grab my canon t6i when I have some fresh flowers which are just about done finding them still beautiful and more challenging to portray as beautiful. I use my canon 35mm macro art lens and prefer to have some in focus but more out of focus

Perfectly delicate, yet strong like a warrioress with bold beautiful colours.

Time to spread its petals, reap the warmth of the sun and embrace its alteration with understated colours.

Last moments are spent with each petal patiently waiting their turn to free fall onto the counter leaving behind a still delicate but muted reminder of the transformation of its beauty.
