Wrap yourselves in robes of cellophane! Dance in the rainbow of tin! The emperor's clothes. Refracted to Octillion! Polyurethane clouds in a plexiglass prism!
I love how the 2nd image is done. On a first glance the artwork is beautiful and so colourful, but every mirror shows each kill, each death that V1 has caused whilst travelling. You’d think that V1 would have some sort of regret now that they’re in hell and have gained consciousness and yet… they see it as art, like how we see this piece (indicated in their eye, like how looking its looking at a kaleidoscope).
I think it very much represents how we as a player could stop, we can stop all of this murder and listen to Gabriel and stop, but… that wouldn’t be a satisfying ending, now would it? We want to see the conclusion, just like how V1 claims that BLOOD IS FUEL, yet can stand hours selecting all the different types of weapons for different combat scenarios.
It’s like how Hell itself wants us to keep going, wants to show more and loves to toy around with V1. It loves violence and even if this destroys it, it loves us, just like how we love it for creating this. V1 sees this as art despite of all the blood and violence, and so do we.
Anyways great art btw will be following you from now on
