I think it’s needless to say that I’m pretty excited for a movie version of WICKED! This concept art looks fabulous, and I think that animation is the way to go for the movie version of this lovely musical.

This Day in History: “Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark” closes on Broadway at the Foxwoods Theatre. (January 4th, 2014). Though the show played 1,268 total performances on Broadway (counting previews before the show was completely overhauled), it failed to gain back any of the $75 million dollar investment that was put into it, making it one of the biggest financial losses in Broadway history. Producers have announced plans to bring the show to Las Vegas, but no further details have been released at this time.
