Like right now, I do not care about what exactly went down between them because we DON’T KNOW anything. Now, once Taylor releases TS11 and maybe reveals some tea then, my opinion will likely change. Right now, other than the reveal that Joe couldn’t handle her fame (which I don’t blame him for and would honest like to see all the fans making fun of him for that, date someone of Taylor’s caliber regarding her fame. See how long they last), he hasn’t done anything to her (that we know of). Seeing people get all up in arms about the unfollows is ridiculous because a lot of people unfollow people after a breakup even one that involves non-famous people.

Like I see people saying that Joe only went to one rep tour concert compared to Matty being at the last six. No, Joe went to more. He went to both London shows (and brought friends). I think he also went to at least one MetLife, DC, and Gillette show, but I could be wrong. They are only saying he went to one because we only have photos of him at one. He was at the SNL performance in 2019 (there’s pap pics of them leaving the SNL studio and Taylor is in the same outfit that she was wearing when she performed “False God” in those pics). He was at the Amazon Prime Day concert (there’s video of Taylor looking at the balcony and pointing toward it). I literally just saw someone use the video of them leaving the VMA after party last summer against him because he dragged her out of the building and he went into the car first and compared it to the video from last night of her and Matty taking their time to get to the car and how Matty let her get in first.

Like yes, her breakup with Joe is a cause for this Matty situation, but he’s not in her life anymore. Leave Joe alone and stop tearing him down to booster Matty. No amount of defending him is going to make this situation okay. No amount of defending him is going to change the type of person Matty is.

I’m sorry, but no amount of things that Joe has done is going to wipe away the fact that Matty is a racist, misogynist, antisemitic, and right now, Taylor is actively choosing to be seen with him. Right now, that is worse in my eyes.

Some people would rather talk about what Joe maybe did (not support Taylor fully) than what Matty 100% did (being a racist). The first thing, besides being hypothetical, is not as bad as the second.
