You HAVE to create. You cannot just let your ideas fester. They will die if not tended to, and you will subconsciously mourn them for the rest of your life.

the liminal space of a consciously unrequited love and the agony that fills it...
‘do you know how i feel?’
a knot tightened deep inside you, your eyes burned, threatening to break the dam.
‘i know how you feel’
her head fell against your shoulder.
‘that’s how i’m feeling right now’, you leaned your head onto hers.
‘so what do you do?’
‘i take what i can get. i know this love is unrequited, and to yearn for more is fruitless. i know that she loves me, and i know that i will always love her more. i know the heart is deceitful above all things, and so desperately wicked.’

But there's this moment of like, Christ on the cross, where in this last moment, where he's like, 'why have you forsaken me?' And if you sit in this moment and reflect, taking that to be true, upon the the idea that like, that there was this one moment where the embodiment of God, the incarnation of the creator of this world came down, and was an atheist for a moment.

religious trauma is so intrusive and all consuming like it will shake u to the core and grasp and rattle ur identity so wholly and just when u go to ask for help and u cry out for god you cannot and that feeling is so gut-wrenchingly lonely and isolating and add that onto a queer identity and boom u will have created a yearning for self and surety so great that it threatens to consume u whole and will chase u well into adulthood that sees you latching onto any modicum of stability to replace the hole that a lack of worship leaves but that will inevitably be ripped from you just to leave you reeling like you've rejected religion all over again and i just think that

i think the chokehold tár had on me when i first watched it should be studied if i'm entirely honest
i think i spent a solid 2 weeks reading abt it and analysing every fucking scene until i never thought about it again. and one day i will regain consciousness outside of tiktok brainrot i will come back and dominate the world with my incredibly complex analysis of the portrayal of a lesbian character on screen in a subversive - her sexuality isn't the core of her being and thusly her sexually manipulative acts aren't due to her sexual identity - but also her gender expression as a woman in a powerful position within a male dominated field actually isn't feminism at all, but rather a portrayal of masculinity traits that keep the majority of woman who are unable to/can't afford to reflect those features out of leadership positions which eerily reflects a 'i'm one of you now' attitude that will always come back to bite women in the arse but is ironically glazed over in this movies potentially despite or potentially exactly because other habits of hers take her down first though as much as it's depicted as such, isn't inherently necessary which comes at an interesting time in the world as a whole where black women can be ivy league school presidents but are still seen as a martyr when things go wrong type of way. or maybe tiktok owns me now idk
i'm being so fr when i say there are two scenes that will make me bawl without question every time i watch modern family
it's claire finally understanding alex, and gloria's speech where she says 'they all call you the smart one, but to me you're the kind one' like GIRL
