(Author’s note: I had decided to make this post, as there used to be a really good post about this, however the user whom had made it had their blog deactivated and I highly doubt that anybody had archived it. So, I had decided to make my own post on the matter.)
Modern technology… we all know and love it, it’s our phones we use to doomscroll social media and text our friends, TVs where we can binge watch our favorite shows, etc. but what if I told you that, technology is harmful to demigods…?
Well, this post is meant to document all known side-effects that demigods have when interacting with modern technology, I don’t know a lot about the subject matter though, so anybody whom is willing to investigate this further or those whom have more knowledge about this… are gladly welcome to correct me on certain parts of this or add onto this post.
Known side-effects of using modern technology: nausea, your energy being drained, monster flare-ups, our abilities being weaker, technology glitches, headaches.
These side effects of using technology is a warning sign to not engage in it further, as technology tends to flare monsters, especially if you start seeing technology glitches. If you start to experience any of the side effects above, my advice is to not engage in it any further. Technology tends to also glitch as a result of the demigod’s energy. The only safe amount of time you can spend on a piece of modern technology is around: 2 hours maximum. And that’s it.
But, the older the technology the more safe you are, technology from before the 2000’s is the most safe to use. You can just go ahead and replace some of your current devices with older ones to be safer and still keep in touch with people. For example: you can replace your current phone with a Japanese flip phone from the 2010’s, although for most apps you will probably have to install an APK sourced from third parties, you can replace a gaming console you own with a older one, for example: the game body advance, the Wii, the DS, the ps 2. Etc, you can also use walkie talkies to talk to people, but that’s not recommended as monsters can still use walkie talkies to try and track you down.
And that’s basically all I know about the subject matter, once again, it is highly appreciated you add onto this with your own information or that you correct me on mistakes that I had made in this post. I hope that this post can help people out.

A 'fog', per se (more like a veil) that prevents mortals from seeing the magical world and also helps conceal mortals.
How you can see through it:
If you're mortal, sorry, most can't, but a few mortals (Rachel Elizabeth Dare and Sally Jackson) can.
How you can't:

Also, anyone who's new might have seen us talking about Shiro ascending to godhood at the end of a prophecy. This is different (not quite sure when/how it will happen, but it was kinda prophesied??? I think someone told it to me??)
EDIT: apparently Shiro becomes a god after making a wish with Kyubey, so my point still stands! Kyubey is NOT in the Greek pantheon.
You can't become a god by "completing a list of deeds" (someone clearly misread Heracle's Labors.)
If it was that easy, there would be like 100000000 gods by now.

What I'm saying though is it's not easy to become a god. Think PJO, in the main five books, how much Percy had to go through before they offered to make him a god.
Or in the myths, when Heracles did labors, went on a quest, and fought in a giant war.

I was scrolling Tumblr like any fellow when I felt a weird tingling behind my eyes. I felg hazy and floaty. I briefly held back before letting whatever was going on happen.
My vision zoomed in on the Astral plane to a huge glowing white entity who felt feminine (what ever that means). The entity scared me, it was very very powerful. Below it was a much smaller figure who was kneeling (?) at the figure. Then the smaller figure burst into light and transformed into a huge glowing pink entity. I wasn't scared of this one. When they were transforming I had the thought that they were Shiro but I don't know if that's true.
But actually how do Oracle decks work? And do you find them easier to understand than tarot? I'm buns with interpreting tarot so I'm lowk looking for an easier divination method
Back to the reading though, is there anything I should be doing in particular in regards to everything going on right now?

It's a bit hard to give a catch-all for oracle decks. Not only are they all one of a kind but there's no real structuring to them besides what the creator has chosen to do. For instance we have two oracle decks. Our newest one isn't sorted into parts at all. Our older one has two large sections. Our newest deck has 44 cards and our older has 60.
Oracle cards really depends on how you feel about a specific deck so pick whatever feels best to you (You could even make the same argument about Tarot Decks as the guidebooks can differ in quality)! They're good if you don't like how structured tarot is in particular. The deck we're using in this reading is the Universal Folk Oracle by Anita Inverarity. So if you feel like these work for you, then we'd recommend looking these or their creator up!
Charge forward and learn to fight, both to protect yourself and others. There are unique ways you can assist which you would be perfect, particularly in creation! This might mean you're good at blacksmithing or enchanting, so you can make items to help out the cause!
