this one happened today.

This whole process is pretty great because i can write 1:15 and just say it’s done. This one will change a great deal until it’s finished. But this is the shape it took today. And thats all. When I have more than 1 microphone in a bedroom I think I’ll actually hammer this one out and engineer/mix it.

again, all of these happened on the day. meant to be a duet. wrote a great deal of the lyrics awhile ago, finally put some chords to them. Feels weird rereading them and thinking “uuhhhhhh” in terms of what rings true, but I added some other parts and there you have it.

I like how the engineering turned out with this - had to do very little post work on the sound.
