“I’m guessing that this is your first time through the Hoenn region?” The smile on his face was pleasant with a hint of teasing the younger man, eyes dancing with mirth, Norman had seen many trainers travelling through the region with bewildering looks trying their best navigating to the next town or finding the nearest Pokemon Centre.

It never changed, truthfully. “C’mon. I can show you where the Pokemon Centre is, if you’d like.” 

 “Well. I thought I took the plane to unova, but that would be really helpful! i’m Leon by the way!” his cape is carefully packed in his overnight bag and he’s in his sport clothes, sports casual as Chairman Rose says. Leon is one ready person....with the wrong region!

“Sounds like I should have left this in the hands of Blanche– they’re better at getting this through to someone in a shorter amount of time than I am–”

Spark breathes a soft sigh, resting his head upon his hand as he peers out through the window again. Oh look– the rain has stopped and it’s sunny now. His gaze shifts back towards Leon.

“I’m surprised though… with you being Galar’s Champion that you’d have a lot more say in the matter in regards to the region–

 “Mm? Is that how it goes? No no I leave the politics and ventures to the people who know what the region needs. Me? I just focus on making every trainer stronger.  i want galar to be known as having the strongest trainers in all the world! I’m ... making a battle tower where trainers can battle all day and be productive!”

He looks out the window, thinking of many things. 

 “Because I’m a champion, a lot of people look to galar now.... but I wonder, what they think for reals.” 

He shakes his head. 

“I, personally, might need more than an hour– but I’ll see what I can do about keeping it as short as I can. When it comes to the technical speak of the Go Program, I’m not really the brains… though it’s easier for me to get away from Pogo in comparison to the other Team Leaders and Willow–”

In which Spark just takes unannounced vacations because he’s an asshole like that, but we don’t talk about that.

“Do you happen to have any questions? Concerns, maybe?”

 “No not really. But I got to warn you, his secretary is scary. Just...mm don’t say anything really dumb or you know, you. She’s really big on time and if your one minute late or over the limit, she’ll kick you.” maybe literally. 

“You don’t say?” Such a sarcastic shit–

As if on cue, Spark’s attention went to the window and he pressed his forehead against the glass. A total blond dork… but it was fascinating seeing the weather change so dramatically! Not to mention the epic Galar Pokemon hanging out down belong–

Spark removes his face from the window and puts on some sort of mask of professionalism. “So where did you say we were headed to?”

 “You said you wanted to talk about introducing your system to Galar right? I manage to book a meeting with Chairman Rose on the way.” 

 “You got one hour to defend your stuff! Good luck.” well that was sudden, but in any case thats the best he could do at this moment. Its not like he actually supports the whole thing, its just that galar weather is too extreme for sutainable growth and continued capturing. 

“I demand to see evidence, my good sir. It sounds like you speak gibberish! Have you lost your mind!”

Spark’s tone did not carry any bit of seriousness to it, he was absolutely joking. Just the short time he’s been here in Galar he’s already deduced the weather was weird. Was it weird enough to go from snow to sandstorm? That he’s not entirely sure.

 “Well look out the window, were passing a big area right now-
