How do I make this about my interests🤔

A/n: there's probably gonna be a part two but i've been feeling burnout due to personal stuff

Use of Yuu and Prefect, a little bit angst, Ace fumbles bad, minimal mention of others

Ace hated it. He hated that it wasn't just casual anymore. He hated that seeing you with other guys made him feel this way. And he hated knowing you'd have to leave eventually.

He wasn't sure when the line between friendship and love blurred. Maybe it was when the teasing turned into flirting, maybe it was when he spent night's at Ramshackle ranting about Riddle's behaviour. Or when he saved you from being held captive in Scarabia. It was bothersome that he didn't know when it turned so serious.

He wanted to be the one to hold you so bad. But he was also terrified of getting bored like in the past. Ace felt as if you deserved better, especially with the prince of briar valley, pursuing you as well. There was no chance of you ever choosing him when there's all these other, way more outstanding guys. So he did what he always does, hide behind a smile and crude jokes.

"Maybe if I just hide it well enough it'll go away." So why did he still get so jealous when he saw you being all handsy with some guy?

"Who's that guy you've been hanging out with lately?" Was the first thing you heard when you two got to Ramshackle. It was supposed to be just another casual hangout so the question suprised you.

You thought for a moment before telling Ace that he's just your potionology partner. Ace didn't belive it, he saw the way you laughed at the others jokes and saw the way you looked at the other guy like he hung the stars.

It's been a few weeks since that uncomfortable conversation and Ace has been acting weird ever since. He was laughing louder at jokes but got more quiet at the same time. You thought that maybe you were imagining things but the others noticed as well.

Ortho was the first to notice. "Prefect! Do you have any idea of what's wrong with Ace? His dopamine levels have dropped significantly over the past few weeks." He asked cheerfully, hoping to find a solution.

As much as you wanted to help you had no idea.

You know how in the seaside event Georgina said her husband(i think) does "this and that" wich Jade doubles down on wich is basically confirming the Leeches are the fish mafia(along with octavinelle) wich not only means Jade and Floyd are in both mafias but that also makes anyone shipping their oc/themselves with them is Y/N. They're Strong, Tall and in the mafia!
