Ah... this question is always, uh. Sort of hard for me to answer...... I love my parents, but. I've said it before. My Dad treats being a man like a personality trait. We don't usually agree on what that even looks like. But he always manages to surprise me just when I think I know how he's going to act, and. He's really trying to be better about things. I'm trying to be better at... speaking up about it when things bother me, too.

Mama is... scary. Still. Not as bad as she used to be, but. I'm a grown man now, and she still stops me dead in my tracks when she calls me by my full name in an angry voice. She means business. I guess I get that from her, but... she's also the one who pushed me to learn the piano. Which I really, REALLY never appreciated until I got older. It makes me feel... uh. Close to her. Embarrassing. Whatever.
