[!] Topp Dogg and Touring
We know we have made a lot of text posts lately, but the recent rise of this particular topic has left us feeling like itβs something we need to comment on. Itβs something that makes us feel concerned for the overall wellbeing of Topp Dogg as a Korean idol group.
If Topp Dogg go on another international tour without building more popularity in Korea first, chances are it could also be the end for them. Is it really worth it to be able to say, βYeah, I got to see them,β when they might not be around making music together for much longer after it? Please think about what youβre asking of them, and how much money (that they donβt have) another international tour would cost. At least if they stay in Korea and focus on Korea for now, thereβs a better chance for their overall survival as a group.
Topp Dogg knows they have a huge international following, and they love and appreciate all of you, but their Korean fanbase is still so small. They are just starting to turn heads and attract attention in Korea, and if they go somewhere else before focusing on growing their Korean fanbase, they are going to lose all of that newly forming interest. Without Korean interest, there wonβt be Topp Dogg anymore.
Please let them focus on their own country right now. They need that now more than you need to see them in yours. Let them have a chance at being successful in their own country and perhaps finally win one if the awards they want and that we all know they deserve for all their hard work. As international fans, we can show our love by being supportive of this because theyβve mentioned countless times how important and meaningful it would be to them. Maybe after they achieve some of these goals, they can come to your country proudly and better than ever.
