This article is 58 years old, and it’s more respectful of Christine’s pronoun choices and name than some publications are today. It makes me happy to see a newspaper be respectful of a trans person’s choice of name and pronouns like that :3

This is cool. Enormous climate protests were set for the big Paris Climate Talks. After the Paris attacks, however, all of these protests were banned. So in an attempt to be heard, protesters - including Yeb Sano, the Philippines negotiator who famously broke down in tears at previous climate talks - filled the Place de la Republique in Paris with their shoes. Thousands of them. Apparently the Pope has sent his shoes too.
