Breathe in, breathe out

Shortly after B and I split, I reached out to my ex from before B. We will call her S.

My relationship with S wasn’t even really worth remembering - it was short and bland, and it was more of a thing for me to lean on. I think she liked me more than I liked her, and very early on I started to pick up on things that I absolutely did not like about her. I should have ended things once I realized I was only staying with her just to have someone. It was selfish of me to stay.

I reached out to her because I felt guilty for the way I treated her and I didn’t think it was fair to her the way we left it. We met up for drinks and I immediately recognized those same things that I didn’t like about her. And I STILL DO NOT LIKE THEM.
