Okay I calmed down a bit again. I think when things are really terrible I cant process what’s happening, I try to find explanations when there aren’t any. I always feel guilty. I guess freak accidents just happen and that’s the explanation. I’ll shut up instead of retracing my steps. I have to. Mike is alive and is in pretty good shape for someone who was hit by a car. Which isn’t 100% amazing but I’m so grateful he’s alive. Thinking about what happened to him and envisioning it makes me cry though

I feel like I didn’t really fully process what happened earlier and I was on autopilot but now that we’re home and I’m realizing how terrifying and serious this all was and how he could’ve died and I’m just freaking out. It’s all setting in. It’s making me think a lot. I love him so much

Okay update: just a broken pinky and lots of scrapes, road rash on the head so he has a big bald spot. But at least his brain is okay and not scrambled, same goes for the legbones. I was worried about that. He’s pretty alright but it looks like he walked out of a horror movie. We both got a few days offa work so I’m gonna take care of him. Might take him on a scenic drive to Wisconsin and stop at the electronics shop? Hm who knows. We are also still getting pho today which was our plan we had since yesterday and nothing will stop us. Not even getting hit by a car

Sorry I have like ten names I call my boyfriend and I guess now would be a good time to clarify just in case because I can’t keep track: he is Mike, the Vargas Nerve. Sometimes shortened just to Nerve. But I also call him Mice because I used to joke and tell people the K in his name is actually pronounced like a C. I realize I’m always referring to him in different manners a lot. Whoops. As for myself, he calls me Grubby lol

MiceyNerve is okay and safe. I repeat he’s okay and safe, we are at the ER. He will be fine I think. It’s just awful. His legs are really scraped up and a huge chunk of his hair got ripped out. He also didn’t call the cops after the guy hit him?!!? I’m kind of upset because now I think we are most likely paying the hospital bills for this and neither of us can afford it, he has no insurance. We will see what happens. I’m just happy he’s okay and alive, that’s really all that matters. Everything else is a hurdle we can overcome
