I may have unconsciously have Meet the Robinsons influenced my Prof Silver a bit since I grew up with that movie haha.

i actually had "Possible future 2" Silver before i cemented the Prof Silver idea haha. (here)

now he's from the "neutral" ending, i suppose.

basically he still gets his happy ending, but unlike Prof Silver that first observe and make calculated and effective approaches, this Silver still traditionally brute-forces his way to saving his future by inspecting every time portals that appear. so he's away for long periods of time that he barely sees his family.
