This is not easy for me to write, not at all. Me and Screech have exchanges pleasant interactions, conversations and art. My Cruel King was partialy inspired by hers even, and I am- or was, a fan of her work. Recently I found her twitter and I was heart broken to see her true colors on what she thinks of the queer community, let alone on trans people, the community I belong to.

On her twitter I found her retweeting a transphobic post. This made me very concerned, so i went to dig in a little deeper. A !few! (not all!!) accounts, one of them being Santa Decides and Delusional Takes

This is one of the first things you see when going on their accounts

Both of these accounts spewing hate. ESPESCIALLY Delusional Takes, as I know of this account already, as I have twitter myself. Both of these accounts are spewing hate, transhpbia, homophobia, racism etc. This is absolutely heart breaking to me as a fellow person who bealives in Jesues teachings, and I hope Screech learns from this. I DM'ed Screech trying to find out if this is a misunderstanding but alas, its not. She claimed to not tolerate/accept trans peoples lifestyle due to her 'religon' . (not a good exuse, my good friend was on pride recently and found accepting christians. Im a queer catholic. I know theres queer accepting churches, what makes them diffrent?)

And after asking her a simple question, if she thinks we, trans folk, deserve rights, she responded with claiming shes not in the politics, while, again, following these accounts. She claims to not accept their ways and yet she turns a blind eye to everything. She never spoke against queer people genocide nor the problem of homophobia and dehuminzation of queer people within the religious commuity. I will not send screenshots of our dms, but I do have them, if things push to shove, I will share them to provide proof. Do whatever you want with it, but I will not support Screech from now or on interact with her. Im writing this for my queer siblings, espescially during pride month, to warn them and make them aware. Block Tales Tumblr is a community filled with queer people. Screech has been supported by queer people like myself and my friends, to see that she claims that we had a choice in being trans is hard. If me being queer was a choice, i wouldnt be queer, beacuse people in my own country and outside of it, want me dead. happy pride month, stay proud

Being someone with a diploma in game design, learning every asoect from marketing to how to run a company was both an amazing opportunity.

But also about 80% of roblox games make me keel over bc of it, its rare to find a decent game but even rarer for those decent games to have an understanding that either hobby or not, you are releasing a product that will influence and inspire those who play to create too or even be a part of the team.

I had the luck of volenteering and getting a role as a QA tester for one of these games i adored, only to leave 24 hours later upon seeing the Handbook and the multiple violations the higher developers made.

At the end of the day, if you are more than a single person making a game. You are a team, a company, which means you have to hold yourself to a standard. And its clear that without that standard things will go wrong. A workplace isn't a hangout spot for your buddies, not all your customers can be your friend, and your workers, volunteers or not have to be treated equally without bias.

Going into a company with high hopes only to be met with a competitive environment and immature and even racist developers was heartbreaking. But on the mire sadder side its something your told to expect or learn to even going into education in game design.

Game studios no matter how big will be full of horrible people, because its something the gaming community as a whole has cultivated, in my course it started with 10 women, at the end only 2 made it to their HND [higher national diploma] all leaving with multiple horror stories involving men. But im glad i became someone to help diversify and try to make a change.

Blocktales is so unfortunate bc i made an oc, finished the game (so far) and now im picking my nose like i coulld draw my player in all these cool situations or i could go back to thinking of Tracker and my cccat...

Unfortunately some games grab me by the neck and others i can never reciprocate with art and lore
