V1 - i honestly don't think V1 would get a job, they are't particularly social nor have any motivation to get one out of personal achievement - they are a decent roomate, V1 will help maintain the place and keep to their room most of the time that they are home, but dear god don't ask them to do the dishes, its not that they are incapable of it, they just tend to hand the dishes too... firmly (that or invest in plastic plates and cutlery) - is almost always out of the house, they tend to wander the streets and perform a little unauthorized artwork on buildings. they will be happy to have you tag along, as long as you can keep up when they run from the police - V1's room is a tad unorthadox, mainly because it lacks a bed, most of the room is full of decorations, a desk is nestled in the corner along with a bean bag in the middle of the room. the previously mentioned decorations are half self created, otherwise they are illegally aquired, most often street signs - their favourite activity to do together is to visit the local cat cafe, while they can't eat they do love spending time with the animals. it gets to the point that the workers recognise them by name, they greatly appreciate the amount of money that they spend in the store, as it turns out when V1 has access to money they will just tip $200 - is very interested in art and frequents museums and art galleries, its to the point they start to get noticed in said places. they don't tend to interact with anyone, mainly due to the fact others struggle to understand them. if you offer to join them you will be roped into speaking with the artists and museum curators - will take a vested interest in your day to day life, and if you have a job V1 is very happy to walk you to and from work, you will find yourself much safer for it, not many people will bother you with V1 making agressive eye contact with anyone who comes near you - enjoys learning how things work and mastering them, and once you introduced them to the concept of laundry you made an absolute cleaning monster, they have it down to an art at this point, and have internal timers set to arrrive at the washing machine just as it ends. you aren't burdening them with the task either, they derive genuine enjoyment out of speedrunning laundry - likes to randomly leave you gifts from time to time, both of their own creation and ones they aquired (legality pending) elsewhere. they very quickly pick up on your interests and favourite things, it does tend to help that they can review footage from previous conversations - is happy to meet your friends, V1 cares about what you care about, and if you value someone enough to let them into your life then V1 trusts your judgement. its unlikely that they will keep in contact with them unprompted, but they still make an effort to be polite (polite being V1 doesn't ignore them) - V1 has a small wardrobe of clothing that they have somewhat crudely altered to fit themselves, they have an interesting idea of fashion but its always fun to see what outfit they've concocted to wear for the day

V2 - an evil part of my brain wants to suggest that V2 gets a retail job to rub it in V1's face that they have a job, only to find near instantly that they fucking hate retail, but that idea would require them being hired in the first place which honestly no sane person ever would - to say their room is unorthadox is an understatement, it is one large metal table spanning most of the centre of the room surrounded by shelves stocked with all parts imaginable. the only object one could imagine sleeping on is their wheelie chair, though that would be on the off chance they aren't inhabiting it - V2 doesn't have many hobbies, what they do with so many hours in the day you ask? scheme about different ways to ruin V1's day. yes they quite literally sit in their dim room like a cartoonish villain and come up with ways to annoy V1. often times these ideas are more minor inconveniences but they gain such genuine joy out of doing it V1 has decided to just deal with it - if you intend on making V2 a good roomate, it will take a lot of time and interventions. V2's appreciation of you is most likely the only reason they listen to you when you firmly tell them to stop pouring glitter in the detergent. - is extremely interested in inserting themself into as much of your daily routine as possible, unlike V1 they do not appreciate doing chores but they like spending time with you, and by joining in chores they have plausible deniability as to why they spend most of their time with you (it is extremely obvious, they just refuse to acknowledge their endearment to you)- on the off chance they aren't plotting V1's "demise" they like to tinker with electrical devices and finding ways to automate things. they seem to have an innate sense of when something is broken and will very quickly appear and work their magic. watching them work is quite fascinating and will definately boost their ego - greatly appreciates quality time, simply letting them be near you while you work or participate in your hobbies is the ultimate form of bonding for V2. if you offer to help them with their mechanical work they might, might even thank you for it - speaking of mechanical work they are very well versed in almost all things related to mechanics, metalwork and electrical work. if you have a car you will find they have a vested interest in its maintinence and performance. at your request they will stray from illegal car mods but they will definately think about it - will meet your friends with only a relatively small amount of reluctance (relative to their normal opinion on interacting with people). in reality V2 is just concerned you are going to find someone to replace them, but they will never explicitely let you know that lest their ego simply disintigrate - V2 didn't originally care for wearing clothing, but once they figured out they could wear matching clothing with you they suddenly decide they like to wear clothing. not much of it mind you, they only tend to wear shirts or jackets but they will colour/pattern match you as often as possible Dual Headcanons - there is an ongoing game of tag involving the knuckleblaster, it trades owners very frequently and is progressively being stolen in more elaborate ways. V1's attempts at aquiring this tend to be more covert than V2's, who tends to launch themself at V1 from unseen location and attemps to rip the arm right off - as much as the two have a (mainly one sided) rivalry with eachother they are strangely familial. said brotherly affection appears differently in each robot, V1 tends to help V2 without their knowing, always making sure they have whatever parts they need for their new projects. V2 tends to be protective of V1, moreso in the way that they are the only one allowed to annoy V1. - if you intent to take the both of them out to spend time together expect V2 to become even more intent on stealing your attention away. prepare for childish antics afoot

- i imagine meeting them would have been a tense ordeal, it would have taken a miracle for them not to shoot first and think later. safe to say the fact they gave you time of day was impressive (go you!) - V2 isn't what most people would call a good listener, they won't interrupt you but then aren't very good at staying still for long times unless mentally occupied by a difficult task (bring subway surfers up on your phone) - they don't take me as the type to enjoy physical touch, at most you might be able to convince them to give a half hearted high five. don't take this as them not wanting to touch you, they often physically pull you towards points of interest or shake you if you aren't paying attention - with that in mind for both of your sakes avoid ignoring V2 intentionally, they constantly crave attention and are willing to do extremely dangerous things if it will get you to notice them (they will take any type of attention, even you scolding them for doing potentially stupid things) - they are more than happy to show you their firearms, even letting you handle them (with their supervision of course, they aren't stupid). they love to show off any tricks they learn wether than be rocket surfing or punching coins, you are always the first person to know when they've figured out something new (the resulting praise is a requirement, their ego isn't sky high for nothing) - their idea of a fun time generally involves mass murder of both machines and demons, and they are more than willing to bring you along for the ride. if you aren't as enthusiastic about mindless violence than they will begrudingly go alone. you may find them bringing back souvenirs though... - while V1 has their pupy dog eyes, V2 has an incredibly expressive frustrated state, it's hard to explain but it is impossible to mistake when their lense goes from impassive to drilling metaphorical holes into their target. they are almost inable to sit still, their wings twitching and hands tensing. such a state is almost never directed towards you, but is hilarious to watch as V2 loses their mind after failing to punch the same husk several times - expect to be roped into their shenanigans, they love doing trick shots and will enlist your help in setting up incresingly random targets for them to shoot. distracting them from the shot will momentarily gain you a legendary frustrated glare, but V2 takes it as an increased challenge, almost taunting you to try your hardest to distract them (please don't get in the way of the gun though, they draw the line at firing at you) - they don't particularly have any hobbies, but if you have a more active activity to suggest they are all ears. i imagine they would be partial to things like skateboarding or basketball, where skills they already posess would be integrated. don't expect them to go easy on you, they respect you enough to take you on as a challenge and will expect enthusiastic performance - V2 isn't especially good at comforting people, it will take several guided attempts for them to eventually learn how to help you when you aren't in a positive emotional state. eventually they figure out just silently being there for you and letting you vent is a workable solution, and if you are especiallly upset they may initiate a a gentle hug - while they do struggle to express affection towards you because of their ego, you will notice that they make sure to both keep you safe and do things for you (such as helping you up onto things, grapping things out of reach without you asking). just don't point this out, they tend to get a little embarrased that you notice

- emotional intelligence is not something V2 has much of, their interactions with other people have been extremely limited and oftentimes immediately violent. arguments or disagreements can quickly swell into fights or ignoring eachother. they don't mean to blow up like this, but they honestly don't know a way to deal with their emotions besides violence and anger. they wouldn't dream of intentionally hurting you, but they are not particularly safe to be around - before they encounter V1 they almost fully believe they are indestructable, and this flippant attitude extends to how they handle most danger. they will be more cautious with you nearby but there will be times they will but you in a dangerous situation with the idea that you'll be fine simply because they are there. your own mortality doesn't register in their mind, you have to be fine. he doesn't even consider you getting hurt as a possibility, but when you do, which you will eventually, it's a sobering moment. their silence is deafening and you don't think you've ever seen them this shaken before. they refuse to touch you, suddenly aware of how little effort it would take anything in hell to kill you - if they get injured don't expect to be told. they will do everything in their power to hide it from you. a mix of both ego and insecurity breed a dangerous pattern of behaviours, their wounds ignored in your presence only to leave them writhing in pain when you are gone. this culminates in a near death experience, a moment where they have no choice but to think about what could happen. shattered glass mixing with internal wiring in a sensation akin to eating razor blades. they can't think clearly, pain clouding their thoughts as they stumbles towards safety. they can't feel their arm. why can't they feel their arm. you find them unconscious on the steps of their hideout, their life holding on by a tether of rage - after their first fight with V1 their obsessive and scheming nature really begins to shine through. they are rigourous in their preparation for fighting them again and will borderline ignore you throughout. they will be short and extremely blunt in those rare conversations, chiding you for bothering and distracting them. they know they are hurting you, and it's killing them, but they can't let you down again. they need to win this time. they don't want to think about the eventuality that they dont come back home to you. this is a necessary sacrifice in their eyes, they know you'll understand one day. - they don't say goodbye before going to face V1 again. it's a mix of desperation and dread, they need to do this, they need to win. the all consuming rage slowly ebbs during the fight, their blood slowly covering more and more of their frame, and only their blood. it's a memory of you that spurs them to flee out of the pyramid, a last ditch effort to grasp at a life they had forsaken the moment they entered the place. the flash of blue that follows them down the steps seals their fate. they die alone, last thoughts unable to stray from the regret that lingered in their mind since they stepped foot inside limbo

V1 - they would be intrigued more than anything. they would want to hold the stuffed animal, but wouldn't take without your permission - they don't question why you have it, humans are already a little strange to them so this wouldn't weird them out. if anything they understand the appreciation of the natural world, to them the plushie has a similar appeal as art - they would be a bit rough handling it at first, not particularly used to holding something so easily torn. if you ask them to be more gentle with it they would simply cradle it, not trusting the seems and joints of their hands to not rip or catch on the material - they quickly grow to like the stuffed animal, seeking out it's company if you are busy or away. they haven't really figured out to put it away correctly so expect to have to go hunting around your house to retrieve it - they don't really like staying still for long periods of time so they don't have any particular feelings on you sleeping with the plushie, if anything they appreciate that you have something to cuddle (they are aware it's a much more pleasant time to cuddle the toy than themself)

V2 - you wouldn't have to tell them, they would have dropped by your home unannounced and spied it immediately. they would all but launch across the room to pick it up and begin pestering you with questions about it - if we are being honest here they are definitely going to make fun of you for it, at least for a little while. this would quickly become a topic of great humour for them, expect for them to bring it up for weeks to come - that being said, the interrogation would stop if you reacted too negatively. their teasing is for their own amusement and a strange concept of bonding, they oftentimes don't grasp how hurtful their taunting can be. that being said they aren't intending to genuinely hurt you, and they will shut up if they get the sense you aren't enjoying the conversation anymore - the plushie will most likely go missing on occasion, the culprit adamantly denying they had anything to do with it. half of the enjoyment of kidnapping the toy is your pointed questioning about it's location, the other half is seeing where they can hide the toy to give you a plausible chance of finding it without making it easy (they're a genuine menace sometimes) - if you end up sleeping in the same bed they would refuse to have the stuffed animal inbetween the both of you, you can have it on your side but they are adamant that nothing physically separates the both of you (they are an absolute bed hog and despite not needing to sleep they still hang out in bed while you do)

Gabriel - he would notice it's presence fairly quickly and would look at it in his own time. it's likely you would catch him picking it up to inspect, which would finally prompt him to ask you about it - he wouldn't be particularly interested at first, treating it as just another decoration in your room, but over time he would grow to appreciate it. you may find him sitting with it if he's had a particularly bad day - he doesn't like handling the toy himself, fearing he might damage it in some way accidentally. he is very aware of his own strength and is especially cautious around you and your possessions. with enough encouraging he will become more comfortable holding it. the sight of Heaven's mightiest angel sloftly petting a plushie as if it's alive isn't something you will forget any time soon - he doesn't mind if you cuddle with the toy in bed instead of him, he is big enough to hold the both of you at the same time if you wished. he finds that he appreciates having the toy nearby, seeking it out if you are late to bed or are unable to stay the night with him - he may look into getting one for himself. most likely it would be a stuffed cat or a lion and would be fairly big. he would find a simple pleasure in seeing both of your animals sitting next to eachother. if he saw you holding his stuffed animal he would freeze in place, the feeling of his heart warming almost overwhelming

Minos - he would find it absolutely adorable and would tell you so. he doesn't mean this in a patronising way, he just genuinely appreciates that you've found something to comfort yourself with - it's almost comical how small it looks in his hands, and the sight of him holding it so gently warms your heart. he wouldn't handle it without your permission but you may catch him sitting with it by himself. he can't deny it's appeal and definitely compliments you on your choice of animal - he may prompt you with questions of why you have the stuffed animal, but never with the intent of judging you for it, he has definitely seen weirder - he would invite you to bring it with you on dates or when you cuddle. it isn't embarrassing to him, if anything he greatly enjoys the sight of you carrying it around or including it in activities - if you have to leave for any particularly long period of time he would keep he plushie nearby, the sight of it a comforting reminder and imitation of your presence
