We really like Rion. We thought we wouldn't, because this kind of characters seems to be often used as a container for fanservice. He's more of a fandisservice, and we like it about him. (I really don't think that being a bundle of anxiety, trauma, multiple phobias and self-loathing would count as fanservice)

The drawing became an experiment with adding textures. A couple of days ago we found one that looks similar to the texture used in sprites of DR characters if it's resized a bit, so I used it. I also simplified the style of drawing ears and used only airbrush for shading (except for the highlights on his hair). The background is simple, because I had no idea what to draw there (and backgrounds often are skipped in our art, as you possibly noticed in our traditional pieces). I really, really need to check what way we shaded the works when we touched ibisPaint for the first time and maybe re-apply that style (I still remember how we were making no idea how clipping works and were wasting time on using eraser).
