A quick update on my creative work. Iāve got a new job, the vegetable patch takes up a lot of time, and my mumās always giving me chores just to keep me busy, as she never takes my opinion into account. That leaves me with just 2ā3 hours for my hobbies. I messed up a friendās birthday and couldnāt manage to put together a proper present. Actually, I still owe him two commissions that Iāve been putting off.
I constantly doubt that anything makes sense. I used to put this depressive period down to a bad job and a toxic environment, but Iām probably just like that by nature. Maybe I havenāt recovered from my previous career yet, but most likely I need help.
I have been wholly and completely enjoying a fanfic called Graveward (link here). These drawings are of various moments from the work that had remained with me šāāļø The care and depth with which the author worldbuilds, writes character, sensory details, tenderness + heaviness both, has been a total joy to experience. The human character is unprecedented in a world of bugs and it is very very wonderful š
Sorry for my laziness. Iāve been busy with the garden, and then the greenhouse. On top of that, we had nearly half a metre of snow in April! Because of that, we were without electricity for two days.

I also transferred the flowers from the old soil to the new. Plus, I need to tidy up the plot for the new gardening season.

I love reading and watching comics, manga, novels, fan fiction (and so on). Especially if they are good and/or updated frequently. So I decided to combine work with pleasure. I decided to draw based on fan fiction. It's nice to give someone drawings based on their work and inspire them to continue the story. Plus, it's useful for me to gain experience and communicate with people. To be honest, I'm going through a creative slump and a depressive period, so a little incentive in the form of working on pieces that I really like and distract me from my āgray and drearyā life would be a good option. I look forward to your positive feedback and comments.
In this fanfic, I was intrigued by the idea of a human and a horse being transported to another world, and what they would look like. I liked the author's design and idea. I became curious about whether it would be possible to make the main character more ārealisticā by Hollow Knight standards. I selected more details for the character from various sources. The problem was with the joints and neck bends, but the giraffes jumping on coals from Hollow Knight Silksong helped me. I chose a darker palette, which corresponds to the game itself, the fallen kingdom. An empty and lonely country.
