Whew! This took quite some time to complete, but I'm nonetheless proud of it!

Urban Beast - Assorted Wyverns

And to cap things off in terms of character sheets (at least for now), we have several examples of Gaia's most prominent animals in the sky, the Wyverns! Cloud Dancer was one thing, but these lack his sapience.

Emperor Wyvern - The second tallest breed, Emperor Wyverns are highly territorial and aggressive predators that can rip prey apart with the razor-sharp armor adorning their faces. They get their name from an uncanny ability to rally and dominate packs of assorted Wyvern species, but only when their shared goal is food.

Bludgeon Wyvern - The largest in terms of sheer bulk, Bludgeon Wyverns make short work of their prey with powerful jaws, a slicing horn-like protrusion decorating their head, and muscular arms for pounding things into dust. But as a consequence, they can't fly particularly high above the ground, and often have to rely on ambush.

Lop-Faced Wyvern - Despite their short stature, being no bigger than house cats, Lop-Faced Wyverns are incredibly feisty. Their needle-like teeth are better suited for small fish and insects, but they can leave nasty wounds if provoked. The function of their big ears are still not clear, but theories include communication and/or mating displays.

Coastal Wyvern - Found across the beaches of Gaea, Coastal Wyverns are built to migrate across continents looking for bountiful harvests of small crustaceans and fish. Although usually indifferent to Anthra, it is always unwise to provoke a Wyvern, especially one that can mob you with a flock of at least ten.

Everything about this trailer is absolutely perfect. The story is interesting, the characters are really charming, and it is absolutley INSANE how varied and full of life the visuals are. Like, it's staggering how much creativity and fun went into this!

But man, oh man, I can't help but think of how EMBARRASSING it is how this outclasses Disney's current output narratively and ESPECIALLY visually.

Dreamworks isn't perfect at all, but recently a lot of their films have had all kinds of different styles (some of which have a noticeable anime influence, neat) and stories that range from okay to great….

…meanwhile Disney can't stop giving its characters same-face syndrome with that same plastic-looking style they've had for more than a decade while hampering their cinematography for the sake of Tiktok edits, all while art-hating CEOS beat every interesting and/or new idea out of each film.

Urban Beast - Assorted Wildlife

And here we get to a whole variety pack of animals you can find at Silverson National Park, a natural paradise where Anthra are encouraged to stay on the path and admire all that Gaia has to offer.

Manticore: A species of cat-like synapsid, Manticores rule the forests of Silverson as the apex predators. Typically, they hunt in packs, and live together as a Pride. All are bioluminescent, and they’re even color-coded. Males glow red, females glow blue (and have large canines), and the leader of each Pride glows purple. They hunt by chasing their prey into exhaustion, and fight by primarily using their whip-like tails, which can slice most objects to pieces. Cunning to a fault, Manticores are feared especially for remembering exactly how prey they’ve encountered previously functions. This leaves plenty of room for things like revenge…

Kodama: Imported from the Eastlands as a major conservation project, Kodama are huge tree-dwelling cephalopods that have taken on the niche of monkeys and apes. Crafty and intelligent, they are thankfully vegetarians who mostly steer clear of Anthra. But beware an agitated Kodama, as their strength and tenacity is not to be underestimated.

Glowgrazer: Huge terrestrial mollusks that spend most of their days chewing up the long grass that grows across the forest. Although sighted plenty of times during the day, they are mostly nocturnal, and light up the night scene with their stunning bioluminescence. This serves to help them travel in herds in the dark, as well as warn predators that their meat is very poisonous.

Springbuck: Part lagomorph and part ungulate, Springbucks are the most common prey item in the forest. But they make up for their lack of defenses with incredibly sensitive long ears (which they can even use to send coded messages to the rest of the herd), long legs for fast bounding, and explosive breeding.

Irehorn: Walking tanks if there ever were any, Irehorns are the herbivores very few predators dare to attack. Their massive nasal horns combined with the slightly smaller pair above their eyes make for an intimidating sight, and they can be used to lethal effect against enemies and romantic rivals. Worse, their eyesight is terrible, so don't get too close or you'll instantly registered as a threat to be neutralized.

Rivershaper: As big as a beaver and with the same natural role, the Rivershaper is a tartigrade that has well exceeded its microscopic beginnings. While not particularly high on the food chain, they are masters of rerouting river systems with their complex dams, and their oddly adorable looks make them a must-see for tourists.
